Who we ARE...
Sarah Asa, Founder
Sarah Asa, Founder of Ananya Integrative Bodywork, and Board Certified Massage and Bodywork therapist, believes in embracing the integrative power of bringing many forms of touch therapy together - merging technical modalities with presence-based practices; each enhancing the other. Her work is unique. It is her own form of bodywork developed over 18 years, and in it's highest expression, each session is a form of active, tactile meditation.
Her intention is to create a trusted space where the client's innate well-being, physical intelligence and true wholeness is allowed to express.
She has worked in tandem with surgeons, physicians, chiropractors, naturopaths, acupuncturists and physical therapists. In rehabilitative/post-surgical, professional athletics, birthing center, hospice and acute care settings, as well as teaching centers, spas and enlightenment-focused wellness retreats.
Her vision in founding Ananya is creating a heart-based environment where the best elements of touch therapy can evolve, and to blend the fundamental, core truths inherent in all healing practices.
She made Mammoth her home in 2010, falling in love daily with the grace and ruggedness that makes this place unique. Besides skiing and biking, writing and baking, her pibble Buddha makes sure she meditates and hikes everyday.
